BKGC began building restaurants in 1992. We have recently completed projects for Top of The Hill Restaurant and Brewery in Chapel Hill, Living Kitchen in Chapel Hill, # 1 PHO Authentic Vietnemese Cuisine in Cary, and Supdogs in Chapel Hill. 

BK also served as the general contractor on Taverna Agora in Raleigh, Carolina Ale House in Chapel Hill, and the O'Charleys conversion to Carolina Ale House, in Winston Salem at Hanes Mall. These projects included the adaptive reuse of existing structures, and involved coordination with (3) different design teams.

RESTAURANT PROJECTS AS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

 

As LM Restaurant's Construction Manager and Owner's Representitive,  BK managed designers, contractors and vendors from project inception until the certificate of occupancy. Aquiring permits, and recieving approvals from Federal, State, County and local agencies required experience and perseverence. BK managed over (20) significant capital improvement and  construction projects for LMR. (8) new restaurants were constructed and opened, and (2) more were completed in early 2016.

 

In the role of Construction Manager, BK procured and coordinated the installation of the following owner furnished items: kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, draft beer systems, kitchen exhaust systems, kitchen fire suppression systems, security systems, audio visual and sound systems, bar construction, signage, interior decor and furniture.
